While VP does understand that someone is often looking for specific things - or may be new to the whole virtual pet thing and not know, we'd like to remind you that posting a thread to ask for pets, or to offer things you have for trading, is not allowed.
All posts must be kept to the threads already made for that website. If you are asking for a Waja pup, you should ask in the Wajas.com thread. You can not post your own thread to see if anyone will give you one. Nor can you do the same in the form of a trade.
Here are the exceptions to this rule;
Here are some reasons in which you may not create or recreate threads;
We'd like to remind people to search the forum before attempting to make a new thread. "I didn't know a thread existed" is not a valid excuse. The search function exists, and is a valuable part of computer programming and community relations. If you are found to be recreating threads and not searching, you may receive a warning, which will count towards bans.

Here are the exceptions to this rule;
- ... If a thread does not exist for the website you are trading/gifting for, you may make one as long as that website allows trading or gifting.
- ... If you'd like to make a thread for specific types of trading or gifting - such as caveborn trading for Dragcave.net or customizable clothes gifting for Neopets.com, in addition to the regular trading and gifting thread that may already exist for that website.
- ... You'd like to make a game or specific project related to trading or gifting that does not already exist.
- ... The original thread was locked for whatever reason or no longer exists, and you can safety recreate it without duplicated the reason it was locked or deleted in the first place.
Here are some reasons in which you may not create or recreate threads;
- If a thread has not been posted on for a very long time. You can still keep posting and breath some fresh life into it. If a thread was run by a person who needs to actively take part and this person is no longer active, this does not apply.
- The thread majorly contains posts not relevant to your own. Just because you are attempting to do a certain type of trade or gift, and others are not, does not equal the need for a new thread, unless a lot of people are and it would be easier to have two threads.
- You don't like how that thread is handling itself. Contact a Discussion Moderator if you think a topic isn't working out.
